John got a couple of new endorsements recently, and the release went out to the press today.

The Massachusetts chapter of the National Association of Social Workers endorsed John Bonifaz last week.

"John's record as a political activist and organizer reflects a real commitment to creating a climate of social justice, the basis for a stronger future for Massachusetts," said Sallye Bleiberg of MA PACE, NASW's political action committee.
NASW has 150,000 members nationally, and 8,300 in Massachusetts.

DFA Cambridge, a local part of the grassroots network of Howard Dean's Democracy for America, voted unanimously to endorse John Bonifaz:

"John Bonifaz has been a steadfast supporter of progressive voting rights and electoral reform,'" said Shai Sachs, chair of DFA Cambridge, on the organization's web site. "He has been tireless in his advocacy for expanded access to the ballot and to the polling place."
This is the second DFA group in Massachusetts to endorse John. In February, DFA Brandeis endorsed John by a vote of 26-2.

Are you a member of a grassroots group or politically active organizations that endorses candidates? Have they endorsed John Bonifaz for Secretary yet? Why not ask them to consider it?
